Why IBA/ABA Antitrust International Cartel Workshop matters for antitrust lawyers
The 2026 workshop, held in collaboration with the ABA, will continue the Workshop’s long tradition of instruction by demonstration and its growing use of creative commentary and a focus on cutting-edge issues. A faculty of highly experienced attorneys and enforcers from around the world will take you through a hypothetical global cartel investigation—from detection of a conspiracy to the ultimate disposition of the enforcement actions in jurisdictions around the globe. The Workshop will highlight current developments and important policy issues relevant to cartel enforcement, with active engagement and thoughtful discussion among lead enforcers and the private bar. Enforcer Spotlight panels will give in-depth insight into enforcers’ views on key issues affecting APAC, the Americas, the EU, and its member states.
